LED component encapsulation system

Its broad formability, lightness, strength and aesthetics have led to an ever-increasing number of applications for polymers in various industries. One possible application is the encapsulation of LEDs/ led profiles. This method makes it possible to protect sensitive light components from moisture, mechanical damage and the effects of harmful environmental factors, such as UV radiation.

The choice of encapsulation system is often determined by the characteristics of the object to be sealed.

A light-emitting diode, or LED, is a semiconductor element. Since a single diode emits a small beam of light, individual LEDs are combined in larger numbers to form modules. Mounting the LED module in the profile, we get a very wide range of possibilities for constructing lighting fixtures, we can create interesting arrangements that also have a decorative function. In addition, the aluminum profile extends the lifespan of the leds, guarantees the dissipation of heat and allows you to achieve a lighting effect that can not be achieved with strips alone.

We offer additional protection and increased aesthetics of led profiles by encapsulating the entire profile. We offer sealing based on two-component polymer in transparent and milky versions.

The coatings we use (both transparent and milky) are UV resistant, do not chalk or yellow over time, and do not contain toxic substances. An additional advantage over the usual polycarbonate blends is greater resistance to abrasion and scratching.

Sensitive LED modules, relays and sensors (because they are also subject to such protection) are protected from moisture, dust, corrosion and external mechanical, chemical and thermal influences. The material we use is also resistant to seawater. There is no possibility of water condensation inside, which is often a problem with traditional blender pasting into the profile.

The degree of tightness achieved is higher than with plastic shutters, which allows the light profiles to be used outdoors and in harsh conditions without problems. Thus, we have several important requirements fulfilled in one step and the need for additional sealants eliminated.

The vast majority of profiles available on the market are hermetizable, as well as flat LED modules and modules used in e-mobility.

Regardless of the chosen application of the profile, we are assured that our coating will ensure airtightness, durability and aesthetic appearance. During installation, you don't have to worry about additional protection from external conditions.
