Warsaw Home is not just a house

17 of October '19

The recently concluded fourth edition of Warsaw Home was extremely popular. In just four days, the interiors fair was visited by almost 75,000 guests!

As the event's organizers emphasize, Warsaw Home 's goal is for Warsaw residents to find everything that allows them to furnish their apartments, homes, offices and public interiors in a comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and modern way. This year, this event has been enriched by Warsaw Design Week - an event combining the most interesting events and places in the capital related to design and architecture.

interiors fair

Nearly seven hundred exhibitors, 30 percent of whom were from outside Poland, spread their stands in five halls with a total area of 120,000 square meters. As Kasia Ptak, founder and CEO of Warsaw Home, emphasized, Warsaw succeeded in doing what Berlin failed to do despite several attempts - open the door to central and eastern Europe, but also to the receptive and rapidly growing Polish market.

education and trends

During Warsaw Home one could observe this year's trade fair trends. The halls were full of vivid colors, pleasant upholstery fabrics, light, openwork furniture structures and interesting textures on the walls. Greenery and potted flowers dominated the stands.

ambitious plans for the future

Today Poland is the sixth largest furniture manufacturer and the third exporter of furniture in the world (and the second in Europe). At the fair you could share native brands with international ambitions and positioning, as well as those just conquering global markets. The fair's organizers, as Kasia Ptak announced, have ambitious plans - including the construction of two new halls, the creation of which will place Ptak Expo among the top ten largest exhibition centers in Europe, attracting an even larger group of foreign exhibitors and spinning off a separate event - Warsaw Build, dedicated to building and finishing materials.

Our coverage of the event can already be found in the November issue of A&B.
